Church Planting:
Christ’s Church was started with the vision to be a church that plants other churches.
In 2003 we began to fulfill that vision by starting Christ’s Church at Aiea. They are doing a wonderful job reaching the communities of Aiea and Halawa. Check out their web site for more information.
Church Planting Mini-Boot Camp
Our EFCA Hawaii district has put together a series of bi-monthly mini-training sessions for those interested in planting a church. This series is designed to help a potential church planter refine their passion, skills, and vision for the potential church plant. And if all is go, they will be recommended to attend the formal Church Planting Boot Camp on the Mainland. This program is by invitation only, so if you are interested, please talk with your pastor.

The EFCA has just produced and updated their church planting resources. Information can be found here. Those seriously interested in church planting should talk to your pastor, fill out the “assessment” on the EFCA web site, and attend the Mini-Boot Camp.
