God is soooo good!
Last night as I prepared to pray at our city’s road opening/dedication the Lord put two things on my heart. First he put our state motto on my heart and second he put Bethel church’s Offering Reading on my heart. I didn’t think the two went together until I started writing down what the Lord was telling me. The common element was righteousness.
Another “wow God” moment I had was as each city official and the Mayor were talking about how our city of Kapolei is expanding. They mentioned many things which are addressed in Bethel Church’s offering readings. I was blown away at the goodness of God. I knew the court building was near where we were this morning, but I had no idea it was right there and it was included in what the Lord showed me to pray for.
Wow God!
Below is what I prepared and prayed at the ceremony.

Throughout history, roads have been the means of travel. But they have also been used for trade and commerce. And are a vital part of the infrastructure of the community. So today as we dedicate this road, we want to pray for the Lord’s blessing on these three things: the infrastructure of our city, the community, and the economy.
Let’s Pray…
Heavenly Father, we come to you on this glorious day to dedicate this road. We pray that as this as the infrastructure of the city is built that you will build the community of Kapolei. We pray for safety and safe travel along these roads. We ask your blessing upon each family that travels these roads. We affirm our state motto “Ua Mau Ke Ea O Ka Aina I Ka Pono.” And know that the community will be blessed as it seeks the righteousness of heaven. And along these roads, we pray for economic growth. We ask you for…
- Manufacturing firms that produce goods for the naitons and provide new jobs for our people.
- Technology to establish new markets, energy sources, and efficient solutions to grow as a population
- Laws & Courts that measure with the justice and the freedom of our land’s Constitution.
- Civil servants that encourage entrepreneurs.
- Media known for wisdom & truth.
- Natural resources released, harvested, sold & reproduced.
- Education, books, and Universities that develop mind molders who influence the influential.
- Capital to build small businesses that provide services, arts and culture attracting both young and old.
- Medical community known for intergrity and excellence.
- Repentance from poverty, small thinking, and envy.
- Courage to recognize opportunities and make wealth.
- Abundance to bless the world and the Prudence to save and invest.
- Revelation to pass on wisdom & wealth to our children’s children…
So we declare that when the righteous prosper, the city rejoices (Proverbs 11:10) and the life of the land is perpetuated for all generations. In Jesus name, Amen!
Thank you for praying for me. The presence of God was as strong there if not more strong than it is as we transform the school cafeteria into a sanctuary of praise to our God. It was through your directed prayers that God showed up and He received much glory today!
Blessings,
